 Ministries at Faith Baptist ChapelSunday Services– In the Morning at 11 a.m. and in the evening at 7:00 p.m. we have a great time of fellowship and learning together. We enjoy times of singing, special music presentations, worship, and teaching from the Word of God. You will enjoy the super relaxed, friendly, and informal services. (We are not stuffed shirts! Casual and informal dress is common. You wear a suit or a tie and you are in the very tiny minority! (A nursery is available for our two Sunday services)In the Evening Service- we have a wide variety of teaching and preaching through the spoken word but also by way of DVD teaching series from well-known experts in their field. Sometimes we have more of an emphasis on ministries training to help inform and equip volunteers in the Church of the various programs and ministries. Even if you are not involved in some ministry presently, you will benefit from this training in your own personal life and work. The principles are very often transferable. On some evenings we have Christian music concerts, Faith stories or a variety of other presentations. One thing we guarantee, you will not be bored!Sunday School- A time of practical instruction in the Word of God for all ages (Nursery to Adult). Classes for different age groups are held after an exciting opening time, which includes singing, birthday recognition and a missions emphasis. For the adults, you will enjoy the informal, open and interactive means of teaching which happens each Sunday.Junior Church- Each Sunday morning the children (Ages 4 to Grade 4) meet downstairs for singing and Bible stories just right for their age group. This takes place during the time when the pastor is teaching and preaching.Word of Life Gophers- Tuesday's from 9:30-11:15 a.m. Boys and girls (Ages 3 & 4) join together for a time of crafts, activities, singing, Bible stories, and snacks from September to April.Word of Life Olympians- Tuesday's from 6:20-8:00 p.m. Boys and girls (Grade Primary to Six) meet for a great night of singing, learning from God’s Word, games, and special activities throughout the year.Word of Life Teen Scene Youth Group- The teenagers (Grade 7 to 12) gather on a weekly basis for super, fun-filled (and sometimes CRAZY) activities, singing, and a meaningful talk. Highlights for the teens include summer camp and a number of Youth Retreats and Activities in towns around the Province.The College and Career ministry- is for young adults transitioning from High School to “finding their way” (Grade 12s included) who want to meet with other young adults in a similar stage of life. We meet every 2nd week for a time of fun, fellowship, and Bible Study.The Young Adults Small Group- is for young adults (married or single) in their 20s and 30s who are interested in getting together with likeminded adults in a similar stage of life, for a time of fellowship and Bible Study. We meet every 2nd week in a small group setting. Though one of the goals of this small group is that we could be participating in Spiritual and Biblical discussion, we also understand many of us in this stage of life have small children. Therefore, this is not a child-free environment.Mid-Week Service- A group of people gather each Wednesday evening for an informal time of fellowship, learning, and prayer. We learn from God’s Word and each other. These interactive meetings are held at a different location each week!Golden Youth- Each month those 55+ get together for a time of fun, fellowship, sometimes travel and teaching from God’s Word.Summer Camp- A Junior Camp (age 8-12) and a Teen Camp (ages 12-18) is held each August. A great week of super charged action awaits the young people each summer.Other Programs– Adult & Family Social Fellowships, Visitation, Men’s Breakfasts, Men’s Retreat, Ladies Night Outs, and occasional family activities and special meetings.A Member of the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches In Canada
